A nationwide initiative to develop comprehensive climate risk and vulnerability information

The Ghana Climate Vulnerability Hub is a pioneering initiative aimed at developing comprehensive climate risk and vulnerability information portals, empowering local authorities and stakeholders with essential climate data and tools.
Our mission is to enhance resilience against climate change impacts through improved access to localized data, technical capacity building, and support for evidence-based decision making.
This platform provides access to interactive maps, climate projections, vulnerability assessments, and adaptation strategies tailored to Ghana's unique environmental and socioeconomic context.

Project Objectives

Building Ghana's Climate Resilience: Digital Solutions for a Sustainable Future

National Climate Portal

Develop a national climate risk and vulnerability portal with comprehensive datasets and visualization tools for Ghana.

Local Authority Support

Support local authorities with localized portals for better access to district-specific climate data and adaptation strategies.

Capacity Building

Provide training to enhance capacity and effectiveness in using portal tools for climate-informed planning and decision making.

Project Funding

This €1,449,968 three-year initiative is primarily funded by the Green Climate Fund (GCF), with the United Nations Environment Programme as the delivery partner, supporting Ghana's efforts to build climate resilience.
